Dr. Mina Min

Dr. Mina Min is an assistant professor in the Department of Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum at Appalachian State University.

Her scholarship focuses on teacher agency, motivation, and change in the context of educational reforms, teacher as social justice-oriented change agents, comparative and international education, and school and teaching effectiveness.

She is the recipient of the Harkrader Family Foundation Faculty Research Award (App State), Joyce Cain Award (Comparative and International Education Society), and Shirley Engle Fellowship (Indiana University).

She is a member of Comparative and International Education Society, where she serves as the Co-Program Chair/Unit Planner for Teacher Education and the Teacher Profession Sig, and American Educational Research Association, where she serves on the Newsletter Working Group Committee and Bilingual Education Research Sig.
